TV telecast rights : India vs New Zealand Cricket Series 2009


New Zealand is set for the biggest cricket extravaganza they've hosted in years, if not ever! an Indian tour of New Zealand is sure to bring billions of cricket fans closer to Television sets world wide and hence, the list of broadcasting rights becomes highly important.

Continuing this norm at itsonlycricket.com where we publish list of TV channels before every major International cricket series - following is the list of TV broadcasters who will be showing India vs New Zealand cricket series (March April 2009)..

Sony TV : has the rights for all cricket played in New Zealand, and one of their channel - Sab TV, Set Max or even Sony TV channel themselves are the one Indian cricket fans must find to watch the series.

Doordarshan : has government rights to get all live feeds of cricket match played by India anywhere in the world, irrespective of who hold the coverage rights, specially that of one day internationals and Twenty20 matches.. so, India vs New Zealand ODI series starting 3rd March 2009 and also the twin Twenty20 International should be available on DD1.

Directv recently renewed their telecast rights deal with skysports which is the home broadcaster for this cricket series between India and New Zealand in New Zealand.

Foxsports : will broadcast India tour of New Zealand for Cricket viewers in Australia.

Supersports : is premier sports channel for viewers in Africa, specially cricket, and fans in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Kenya and other African nations can watch India-Newzealand matches live on Supersport itself.
